While studying for my undergraduate degree in special education one of my professors knew my background with horses and suggested I volunteer at a near by program therapeutic riding program. I fell in love with it. Throughout my 13 year teaching career I’ve always tried to volunteer at a program wherever i was. It didn’t always workout for too long because the demands of teaching and location of the programs. In 2017 I stopped teaching to stay at home with our son. Then in the summer of 2018 my husbands job moved us to Cullman. After eight months of adjusting I started volunteering at Hope. Shortly after they asked if I would be interested in becoming an instructor and my journey began...God opened up a door for me to follow a dream.
